3D Modeling and Design
Streamlined Design and Fabrication Process
Our 3D modeling team utilizes “Pack and Go” technology to seamlessly import and export modelsfrom different OEM vendors across various software platforms. This functionality creates a connected experience from the design stage to final fabrication, making engineering design smooth and time & cost efficient.
Advanced Software Tools
Our team of mechanical, electrical and process engineers use industry-leading software like SolidWorks®, Autodesk® Inventor® for 3D models and AutoCAD® for exceptional control over project design. With integrated flow simulation software, our engineers can manage flow and thermal analysis using Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) analysis when required. It can be used right from the project’s development phase to find answers for all your questions and limit associated risks.
Automation, SCADA, DCS, and Control Panels
Automation
Our team of automation & control engineers have extensive experience working with a variety of control platforms and respective application software packages such as Allen Bradley, Siemens, Omron, GE, Emerson and more. We will work with you from concept to completion on the platform that works best for your organization and your processes.
Data Collection and Reporting for GMP & Regulated Spaces
Our team understands the critical role of data in cGMP and the current regulatory environment. Beyond data collection, we specialize in data interpretation to ensure application success and maintain data integrity. We provide PC and HMI-based solutions, along with plant-wide access to tools that allow tracking, charting, calculating, reporting and the safe storing of critical data.
In-House Panel Shop
Our UL® approved panel shop allows us to offer a single-source approach to automation solutions, providing efficient, standardized panel production in-house, fully compliant with the applicable regulations, no matter how elaborate your requirements may be. UL508A label and UL698A label for hazardous environments for US installations. CSA label for Canadian installations.
Codes & Standards Compliance
At DCI, Inc., we adhere to essential industry codes & standards and best practices to deliver safe, reliable, and compliant equipment for various applications.
- ASME Section VIII, Div. 1: Governs the design and manufacturing of pressure vessels for pressure and vacuum environments.
- ASME Pressure Vessel Code – “U” Stamps: Certification ensuring pressure vessels meet ASME’s safety and quality requirements.
- National Board – “R” Stamp: Certifies repairs and alterations on pressurized equipment, ensuring continued safety and integrity, allowing older equipment being brought up to latest process requirements through retrofits/changes to meet total cost of ownership goals.
- ASME BPE: Well accepted standard for the hygienic design of bioprocess equipment and related aseptic applications, ensuring sterility, cleanability and bioburden control.
- 3A Sanitary Standards: Authorizations for equipment in dairy, food, and beverage industries, meeting strict sanitary requirements.
- cGMP: [cGMP stands for Current Good Manufacturing Practices], These are regulations enforced by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) to ensure that manufacturers produce goods consistently and safely without alterations. These ensure our equipment meets high standards for biopharmaceutical, pharmaceutical and food, dairy and beverage applications, supporting quality, safety and traceability.
- API 620 & 650: Standards for large storage tanks in oil, gas, and chemical industries, ensuring structural integrity and safety.
- UL (Underwriters Laboratories): Certification for safe, energy-efficient electrical components and assemblies.
- CRN (Canadian Registration Number for Pressure Vessels)
- CE Marking (European certification for compliance with EU directives)
- The CE mark can be applied to just a pressure vessel, an agitator, a control panel, or a complete skid.
- PED: [Pressure Equipment Directive].
- Machinery Directive
- EMC Directive
- Low Voltage Directive
- ATEX
