• Design Engineer

This position is responsible for the design of stainless steel pressure vessels and process equipment for the pharmaceutical, biotech, and food & dairy industries.  Will participate in product design, drawing review and material specifications and will provide technical sales support.  Project management skills are a must.

Qualified applicants should have significant education and training in the engineering disciplines.  Other requirements include 5 – 7 years experience in the design of standard and custom equipment, including vessel, piping, heat exchanger, mixing, and process equipment design.  Experience with bioreactors and fermentors desired.  Knowledge of design of stainless steel weldments, sheet metal forming, and manufacturing processes.  Experience with ASME pressure vessel codes and ASME BPE desired.  BSME or equivalent experience preferred.  DCI, Inc. offers a competitive salary and benefits package plus a casual and flexible work environment. 10-20% travel required.
